Chris Nagala

I am a recent graduate from the University of Houston – Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology with a Minor in Cybersecurity. This has allowed me to establish a strong foundation in cyber security, networking, and programming principles. While working as an IT Intern at UTSI, I have had the opportunity to challenge myself while putting my knowledge to use in a real-world environment. I am enthusiastic about computer and network security as well as programming and am eager to continue learning and adapting to new challenges.

What I Do

Cybersecurity

With constantly advancing technology, information is becoming an important commodity. Cybersecurity measures that can prevent breaches and protect information is essential for all businesses. Keeping your information secure is my number one priority.

Network Administration

The network keeps everyone connected- both within the workplace and out to clients. Administration of the network- from installation and configuration of network equipment to troubleshooting network issues, organizing network cables, and monitoring network traffic- is the key to connectivity. I can keep your business connected.

Programming

Time is valuable. Reducing the time employees spend on repetitive tasks will increase creativity and productivity. My programming skills can benefit your business by easing and automating everyday tasks.

Computer Systems Administration

Almost everyone at every level of every business must be able to use a computer today. Computer systems administration includes installing and configuring software and hardware, troubleshooting issues, ensuring security through access controls and backups, and setting up accounts and workstations. I can provide these services and increase productivity in your business.
